When Hotel Chocolat first started making their Easter eggs more than 20 years ago, they were advised to make them as thin as possible. They did the opposite, opting for lavishly thick shells that are the epitome of indulgence. Patisserie is a family-friendly, alcohol-free Extra-Thick Easter egg of two generously proportioned halves: 50% milk chocolate with pecan praline recreates the taste and texture of brownie, while caramel-milk chocolate, mascarpone, yogurt, and a pinch of salt reinvents salted caramel cheesecake. Filled with delicate desserts reimagined in chocolate, including award-winning Carrot Cake and Treacle Tart. Served in a reusable tin inspired by the shape of a growing cacao pod.
