Blended white rum, aged up to 4 years with a light velvety taste Pampero’s ageing process set a new standard of quality for Venezuelan rum A light rum, fresh, clean, sweet fruity and ardent Ideal as a base for delicate rum cocktails and long drinks such as a Mojito Triple distilled, aged in ex- scotch white oak casks and charcoal filtered Pampero Blanco won Gold at the esteemed San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2021. A blend of 30 different types of rums to give an initially golden rum which is filtered to remove the colour and keep the flavour. Crafted using a combination of pot still and column distillation creating a singular premium rum. Pampero Blanco is aged exclusively in Ex-Scotch Whisky casks giving extra depth of flavour that you don’t get in other white rums. Add smoothness & flavour to any world class cocktail Pampero was created in 1938 by Alejandro Hernández, the son of a fisherman from Isla de Margarita. Pampero is credited for having set the initial standards for rum production in Venezuela, and was the first rum to be accredited ‘Añejo’, by the Venezuelan government. Alejandro Hernández later on joined the political life of the country, occupying the office of Governor of the Nueva Esparta state and even running for the presidency of the country. Blending and filtering Pampero Blanco is an art-form in itself as our Rum Master, Luis Figueroa, must use 30 types of rums to create the correct mix of flavour and richness. Once he has the perfect liquid, we filter it to keep the flavours and remove the colour. Pampero Blanco is crafted using three stills (Column, Kettle Batch and Copper Pot) giving our Rum Master an unrivalled mixture of light, heavy and semi-heavy spirits with which to work. .
