Sounds great, does what it’s supposed to do: be a no-frills TubeScreamer clone. My signal chain: Strobostomp HD with buffer > Crybaby > Joyo Vintage OD > a Saturnworks A/B effects loop switcher (A)> Joyo American Sound [fender amp] (B)> Tech21 Sansamp British [marshall amp] > both get sent into a Nux Atlantic Reverb/Delay before going to FOH. The extra tones I can achieve with a little extra gain are amazing. Turns a pristine clean into a blues beast, and turns a jcm800 style drive tone into a glorious lead tone. Works equally well with my Strat, Tele, and Dean from Hell. Only cons I can think of: feels cheap(ish) with a light plastic case, and I’m not a fan of the painfully loud True Bypass switches. Color is goofy too, but it does read as an OD. For sub-$40 these are nitpicky minor complaints and I am very impressed with this pedal. Would buy again in a heartbeat. Joyo is KILLING it with their pedals.

Ok just got this Joyo vintage overdrive and A-B'd it to a Boss SD-1 that I just got this week too. I was trying to see if I liked the sound of a tube screamer clone without having to dish out twice as much as the Boss SD-1. I'm strictly using this for bedroom volume through a Bugera 5w tube amp. (which is sweet by the way). And Telecasters. Right away I noticed a difference in tone. Same settings, the Joyo was more muffled sounding, not as much presence. I had to crank the tone knob to full on the Joyo to get it to match just over half on the Boss. The Joyo is quiet, the Boss a little more hiss but that's because its just more "alive". The Joyo is built good. Good for the money. But for $15 more the tone of the Boss is noticeably better. More presence in tone and more sweep in the use of the knobs. Just my opinion.

Great budget tubescreamer copy. I set the gain to zero, and use it as a boost. It does an excellent job. Works as well as any tubescreamer. I got it to replace my Behringer overdrive. The housing on this is all metal which is a big step up from the plastic housing on the Behringer. Sounds alot better too. It pushes my Wampler Dracarys great, as well as my Xotic SL Drive. My only gripe is the hideous yellow knobs, that look trashy on my board, but I didnt buy it to be a pretty pedal, I bought it to be a workhorse and it really is! If it ever breaks I will just buy another.

Man, Joyo has never disappointed me ... except for the American dream that can be with them, but his evaluation is very high, so it can be my taste ... what reminds me of this A special jewel ... a dynamic comoressor. .. Honestly, I personally have 3 compressors, and I use other good compressors ... Some people add noise when they add a delay ... Others do not have good percussion instruments. .. while others simply kill your tone immediately ... but this great product from one of my favorite companies ... I have all kinds of pedals ... because I am an addiction to confession Gentlemen ... some of my pedals include expensive, such as wampler velvet blur, zvex fat blur factory, huge form of suppa puss, etc ... My point is that I not only buy cheap pedals ... but I also know a little about all price range pedals I can definitely tell you these inexplicable inexpensive pedals ... although I know you have to make your winning pedal with the same material, around 8 to 12 dlls. This also includes super experience. They are almost always the same ... This is still an extreme explosion for you ... you will get a high quality sound product, like a tank ... Used with Ultimate Drive (Excellent web masterpiece) This asresor is my favorite. ... exquisite tone, smooth dynamics ... no more than ... please, do not compress your things ... the compressor is for the taste ... and if you buy this, you will not regret ... I assure.

I got this pedal on Saturday, I tried it for a few hours and played it the next day. I used it directly in the PA through a direct box. This pedal is really a great amp simulator. Nice warm colors and pedals are very good. I've played the real Vox AC 30 several times, although I'm sure it's not exactly the same tone, but it sounds very close. In my opinion, it sounds very good and responds well to the dynamics of performance. Also, I suspect that anyone in the audience can say that it is not a real amplifier. I play in the church every Sunday, we must be very clear about the volume of the stage, that is, the volume of the stage is not big. (The drum is in a booth, we use it in the ear monitor). In the last year, I've been using the POD HD500X, which is great, but I really want to go back to my regular pedal. There is not much to choose from using a real amplifier, except that running the Radial SGI box to a later amplifier (which can make cables, microphones, etc. are expensive and confusing), I've been looking for a solution. I bought a good G3 Zoom for the first time, but it did not handle the pedal very well, so I was not happy with it. Then I came across this pedal when I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the pedal of the Sansamp Character series. I think less than $ 40, I have nothing to lose. I can hardly believe that I can get a great amplification tone from this device, especially considering its price. It also does a good job. It has a very strong metal casing and the knobs and pedal switches have a very strong feel. I really want to use it more. I can even get American music and then change the style of the amp based on the song. In short, if you want to go directly to the PA or use it to record and get a good tone, buy this pedal. If you already have a good tube amplifier, do not bother buying it. :-)

This is a big overspeed and you can get some old school overload sounds. This is not a metal head, but more of us are trying to get a tone like Aerosmith, Sweet Emotion or ZZ top thanks. This has a loose bass end, like the older melodies, so do not count on the tone of the 80's band. Nor did I dig the metallic tones. But it covers the classic courage of rock and roll and is full of roars. This may sound better than a pedal, including some boutique pedals. What makes it better to be a multiband equalizer instead of a button and a tone switch. This means that many high-end pedals are only used as controls.

Beautiful OCD type box. I bought this for my backup pedal. I have a Fulltone obsessive-compulsive disorder, which is my main overload, I just do not want to pay for another, this is a very cheap alternative. I like the sound of OCD, for example, the green box, the OCD gives more heights and bites, which apply to my configuration (Strat, Mesa Blues Angel). I have not done a side by side comparison. To be honest, I do not think I have an OCD mojo (I run 18 volts, although I can not really hear the difference of 9 volts), but close enough. For $ 31, I will give you a 5. It is very sensitive to adjustments (such as TOC). The structure looks robust, the switch and the kettle look good, and the bypass seems to be clean. If I have to use a single pedal, it's an obsessive-compulsive disorder. If I only spend $ 31, that's it. My comment is based on a very subtle use, only for modest breaks and blues, I did not recommend anyone to look for hard rock sounds, although this seems to divide well in the higher gain settings. I ran around 8 o'clock.

This pedal is just an amazing and classic sound speed drive. I bought it just to see what the $ 30 pedal can give you. After playing for a few weeks and finding what I like, and after some small dislikes, I'm completely sure to take my boss SD-1 (one is not a boutique pedal, but the price is still double the price)) Take it out of my motherboard and replace it. This has more tonal characteristics for me and better maintains the original tone of the amplifier. This pedal is not a hard core distortion, but even if the gain increases, it will add a good decomposition to a cleaning channel, the volume of the guitar is always high, medium to hard to pick up. It may be that looking for a Bruce boy does not like the really transparent speed, but it is not dominant. Through an easy channel, it can provide a gain of just gain and a lot of sustain, I like it, and by a more saturated compression it gives a little kick to the most classic rock voices. I also discovered that s is a very bright vocal pedal. As the tone dropped, it still increased the top and it took away a small background that I did not like at times, but once again, it was not dominant. In general, I think it's great, and I do not think I'll find a better retro sound pedal at this price. * Update I take back what I said here about what can not be transparent. I used a fender strategy, took it to a clean channel and reproduced an additional flash in the out-of-phase position of the clean channel, even without breaking :)

Great pedal You can not beat the price. There is a good tone, only some people may feel disappointed, because the octave effect is not really obvious, but it does exist. It's a bit subtle, but in my opinion, this is a perfect number. Some people may prefer to use the volume control to adjust the amount of octave effect in the mix, which would be a great feature. But for these prices, I did not complain, it sounds great. Fuzz kicks the ass, the filter of the middle spoon is great. The sound is great I would recommend it to a diffuse fan like me. So far, the case seems to be very strong. But I only play at home, I will not use it or anything to perform.

Wow I originally bought the clone Behreaer Tube Screamer because I wanted to see how my new amplifier reacted to the pedals before giving up Ibañez's big money. The pedal was terrible and had a terrible tone sucking the bypass. The sound also kills all bass. So I think I give this person a shot and a PEDAL. Sounds great ... it's a rugged metal construction with robust switches and knobs. The bypass is silent and the sound is amazing again. When I arrived high, I kept many low roars that I liked. After listening to many videos and comparing this sound with the real Ibanez, I must say that this sounds a lot better than the real one. I will keep this pedal and will value it highly. Pay homage to JOYO.

Equipment of good price. The sound quality is good, there are no hums or hums, the delay effect works well with extensive settings and the structure is robust. But, as Scotty (for Star Trek fans) once said: "The equipment is guaranteed, but I have questions about internal parts." This applies to this; Allow me to try several effects before investing in the high-end equipment you really want. When you finish and are ready to get your MXR, Way Huge or whatever pedal you enter, you pass the Joyo to the children and they are very happy. I will not hesitate to buy another one. Also, if it does not work you can return it, Amazon is very good.
